Children's orthopedic supinating insoles are dedicated to children who struggle with knee and heel valgus (excessive pronation). This defect is characterised by an inward bending of the knees and a slanting of the foot towards its inner edge.
The need for orthopedic insoles can be checked in a simple way - by looking at the shoes. If the sole of the shoe is more abraded on the inside, this means that a supinating orthopedic insole is required, which effectively corrects the incorrect position of the foot and stabilises the heel.
The arrangement of the feet has an enormous impact on the posture of the entire body. Pronation or internal rotation is a natural phenomenon consisting in the suppression of vibrations generated while walking. Thanks to this, proper cushioning of muscles and joints is created. A health problem occurs when excessive pronation occurs, i.e. the outer edge of the foot is lifted upwards. This phenomenon leads to excessive load on the inner part of the foot and, as a consequence, to many pains and diseases:
